This would reduce the parts cost to about $20. To accomplish this, you would need to remove the EPROM IC socket to cut a trace that is underneath it on the top of the board. Then you would install a socket at that location for the new EPROM. You would also need to cut another trace on the bottom of the board. And you would need to remove RAM U112 and install a socket at that location, to accept the NVRAM. U111 would have to be disabled or removed from the board. (U112 and U111 also have to be disabled if using the memory board)
